This 2023 Marlborough Estate Reserve Lighter wine was machine harvest from numerous vineyards around the Marlborough region, selected for their intense expression of Marlborough terroir. These grapes were harvested earlier than a traditional Sauvignon Blanc when the sugar levels are lower and acidity prominent.

In the winery, the grapes are pressed immediately off their skins and fermented in stainless steel tanks, this method is used to retain the fresh fruity characters from the grapes. Once the wine had reached a desired alcohol level, the winemaking team blended and prepared the wine for bottling.

Food Pairing: This lighter styled Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with pan seared Blue Cod, bonus points if it is caught in the Marlborough sounds.
