The sealed XLPE polymer housing featres a rugged design, as well as a clear sight window, allowing for hassle-free filter inspection. aFe POWER's patent pending filter-to-housing interface eliminates the use of an overabundance of parts, further simplifying the installation process. The housing utilizes the factory air inlet, using no additional hardware, and features an optional auxiliary air inlet that pulls in additional air.This system features a two-piece, computer-designed, roto-molded intake tube to achieve maximum power gains while maintaining a perfect fit. Constructed from XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer, it is heat soak resistant and extremely durable. A factory-style Helmholtz Chamber is integrated into its design, toning down any drone. All stainless-steel clamps, hardware, and silicone couplings are included for a hassle-free installation. Lightweight but so is the original
When the package arrived it was in a very thin lightweight box that was crushed on one side. I thought for sure it was trashed. By chance…all was good. The lights are thin plastic but made very close to the original standard. They fit well on the car but the gasket needs to be tucked in around the edges. That material seems thin. The end result is actually a nice looking inexpensive light. Overall I am happy.
