About the Author

Susan Jane Logan graduated with a degree in English literature from Willamette University. She and her husband, Kimbal, raised their four children first in Oregon and then in Vancouver Washington, where they still live today. She taught school for several years and then joined the family real estate business, but throughout her life has continued her passion for literature. She credits her twelve grandchildren with being the inspiration for bringing her back to her first love of writing and telling stories.

"I bought this book for my grandchildren and they loved it. I thought it was delightful. In the story a boy and his sister move with their family to an old house. They discover that there is a ghost boy in the house who is unhappy. At first, the children were afraid of the ghost, but the boy thinks the ghost is sad and tries to help him. I think it is such a timely book because we all should look to help others specially at this time of year. I would definitely recommend buying this book."

ACTUALLY unscented! Finally!
Scent: Unscented
I have been on a personal mission to find a truly unscented sunscreen, as I have extremely sensitive skin and medical conditions that cause me to have skin reactions to fragrance. I have tested out 10+ different sunscreens and even in those that do not list a fragrance, can still have a strong smell or scent due to one or more of their ingredients. This sunscreen truly is UNSCENTED. I was even able to use it on my face today, which until now I have been able to do successfully with only one other sunscreen. I have yet to try out this sunscreen in direct sunlight for a prolonged period of time, so I cannot speak for how effective the SPF 30 is for activities out in the sun, but I was able to comfortably wear it for walking my dog for 20 or so minutes while wearing a sun hat, which is normal use for me when it comes to sunscreen. I will come back and update this review if anything changes as far as sun sensitivity or if any burning takes place. Now for the cons: it felt a bit heavy or "stifley" on my face, but I have sensory processing issues so I'm sensitive, and there was pilling on my face hours later. So far I would recommend this sunscreen and am stoked to have discovered it. It is my current go-to for my body sunscreen, and haruhara wonder black rice SPF 50 velvet finish sunscreen is my go-to for face sunscreen
