The wings of a butterfly in flight. Simple roundish wings - open as if they were drawn by a child. The form of the outer angle where the armrest and backrest come together is shaped to mimic the symmetry of a butterfly's wings as it glides through the air. Patricia Urquiola loves similes, and she wanted the name of the outdoor sofa collection to mirror the initial inspiration for the collection. She took inspiration from nature, but the “depth” of the padding really has a structural function. This modular seating system is extra soft to take the comfort we are used to indoors outside “en plein air. Ottoman module also available.
